Hello,

I'm a 2012-starter student on a 3-yr course due to finish this year.
My student loan debt is estimated around Ј44K.
My starting salary will be Ј31250 (+2.45% annual inflation).

My minimum annual repayments will be (31250-21K) * 9% = Ј922.5. According to the calculator on this website, the debt will be wiped after 30 years, total sum repaid being Ј83K.

Hello dont know where to start but I started university as a mature student with children so I applied for student finance and the grants I may be entitled to

Sent in all the paperwork they asked for sometimes 3-4 times now I am in the 3rd year of my degree, they have said that I was not entitled to any dependents grant at all and I need to pay this back, more than Ј6000 over the two years what I want to know is can I ask for a breakdown on how it was calculated in the first place

Hi Guys!

So I've started my OU course about 4 months ago, which I'm studying full time. I'm just wondering what (if any) sorts of financial support people have been able to receive?

I ask because it seems unfair that I'm not exempt from council tax, like a traditional bricks and mortar uni student would be, even though we do the same number of studying hours and have the same amount of free time for earning potential.

A question about : Online College of Art and Design

I'm looking into doing a Foundation Diploma in Art with a view to doing an art degree. It's difficult for me to do a course at a standard college, so I've been looking at online providers. Does anyone have any experience with the above college, or any others of this nature? Obviously I would make sure it's a properly accredited course, but I just wondered if they're actually for real.

Bear with me, I know it sounds silly... But if someone buys or otherwise establishes an address in Scotland or Wales prior to deciding to study, are they then covered to avoid/minimise tuition fees?
