Dissertation

A question about : Dissertation

I have a question and its not really money saving related but I'm sure people will know about this. I am entering my final year of a degree in september and was wondering what are the best books available to help me get to grips to help me writting a dissertation as in structure etc. Also are you allowed to have private tuition from someone experienced in the area that im studying to help me with the dissertation or is that considered 'cheating' by the university? Cheers!

Student Bankcrupcy

A question about : Student Bankcrupcy

I have been reading a great deal in Observer/Guardian about UK Students declaring themselves bankrupt to lose their student loan.
What are the implictions of doing this and then moving abroad to say France ?

Are you then able to apply for credit etc over there. I have just graduated, have no UK assets yet and have a potential job in france but my debt here is huge so I am thinking about this option. Is there information sharing between EU states ?

None-payment of student loan

A question about : None-payment of student loan

Hello all,
I havn't paid my student loan back...I didn't mean not to, just lost track of it. Anyway I left Uni in 1999 and deferred for a year however I have moved loads of times since, and have heard nothing since 2000. I now have a wife and child to support on a low (But not low enough for them to leave me alone) income.
Does a student loan fall into the 6 year rule, or is it like tax, and payable forever....(I dread to think what the amount now would be, but even at 0.2% interest, it will be a fair bit).....
