A question about : West Highland Way

Hi

I am thinking of doing the West Highland Way in Scotland in May/June this year and was wondering if anyone had done this trek before and if so what is the cheapest way to do it.

I will be travelling from N Ireland and would like to try and arrange and book it myself rather than go on an organised trip or through a charity.

Any help much appreciated.

A question about : Is there anywhere near Glasgow to sell old records?

I have a fairly extensive vinyl collection, and no longer have anything to play them on. I have about 300 albums, and 250 singles. I know that there are various online sites that offer cash, but don't think that is a viable option for vinyl. Does anyone know of anywhere else who would be interested in them?

A question about : Plasterer

Hi there.

We live in Ballater, Aberdeenshire, and are having difficulty finding a plasterer.

Our house was built in the 1980s, so not any ornate work. It has an open plan layout – kitchen through to dining area through to living area. The work would involve plastering of kitchen walls, plastering an area of the kitchen ceiling (where a wall was taken down), plastering around a fireplace and plastering the gyproc around the living room window.

A question about : Recommendations for a stonemason in Edinburgh

Hello there,

I am looking for recommendations for a stonemason in the Edinburgh area. My wife and I have an Edwardian stonebuilt house and the front requires some work. Some sections of the stonework probably will have to be replaced and there is some repointing to be done. Google does bring up some local stonemason's websites that look quite professional. However I have no idea how good or bad they are.
