I have mentioned this before but was in Aldi Paisley (Phoenix) today and lurking in the back of the shop is a Gericom (Samsung made) 160Gb Internal Hard Drive for Ј49.99.

I have just bought a 250Gb for a new pc and decided not to EBay it but it is lurking near the Bush CD systems.

Great buy for someone!!!

A question about : Boots East Kilbride bargains

O i had a good day today and managed to get a load from the reduced corner in east kilbride boots, they seem to have stocked it well in the past few days.

I got 3 toni and guy conditioners reduced to Ј2 but at checkout they went through 3 for 2.

Impulse body sprays 1/2 price to 75p but when buying 2 got another 48p off.

I did get loads of other wee things like hair gel,soap,tights etc all reduced to have listed the ones going through with extra savings at the till, well worth a look if your kinda local.

A question about : Trams

Pretty fed up that the Bus Pass is not valid on the trams unless it has been issued in Edinburgh.

Over 60's from anywhere else in Scotland other than Edinburgh have to pay full whack.

It won't take long for the 100 bus service to be reduced/withdrawn to push people on to the trams so it looks like one benefit for the over 60's has disappeared.

Hi all.

I'll be driving from Edinburgh to the Rosyth Ferry Terminal on 3 September around 8.00 am to collect some relatives from a cruise.

I have noticed that the roads tend to be quite busy then - the Edinburgh City Bypass, the approach to the Forth Road Bridge especially. It would be really helpful if folk who regularly use these particular roads around that time of day would make other arrangements on 3 September.

Thought I would raise this as I haven't seen anyone else talking about it.

Have read a lot of Yes vote literature which takes the stance that if you are outbid on an eBay auction because you won't pay a few pence more for postage for that collectable Star Wars figure than some bloke in Wolverhampton, then it's no big deal.

But nowhere can I find anything that talks about the effect of independence on internet SELLERS.
