I'm waiting to hear a date for a JSA interview and was just wondering what to expect ? Do I need to justify every last penny spent ? To be honest not looking forward to it at all, would just like the job fairy to pay me a visit !!

if you are offered 15k in a redundancy or a job in new location with three hours travel everyday for the same salary. Which one would you prefer.

Does employee have any rights to reject new offer without sacrificing redundancy money due to distance or personal reason

I am so confused about my situation, First I was told I will be redundant in Dec, then it changed to being tuped. Now the incoming employer doesn't want to tupe us but wants to employ us to finish the contract. My existing employer says its a transfer and the new one says its a new job with a new contract.

Does anyone know if your employer can make your role redundant and then you even though the job is being covered by up to 8 other people every day , one of whom is an agency worker brought in to do a different task, but also used to cover the task ? we are at a loss to understand it all

A question about : Made redudant based on x hours per week

I was made redundant based on a 29.5 hour a week contract back at the end of September 2014 as my hours were reduced for medical reasons.

I have recently found a consultation form which states that it would rise if i work over a certain month (June), is it worth then contacting the HR dept to enquire about this as my redundancy was paid out at Ј5143 and I was working a 37.5 hour a week contract from March 2014.
