A question about : Red Bull Crashed Ice

Just looking online for tickets for this event and read a story on the BT website saying that tickets are Ј11 for adults and Ј5.75 for kids and that this price includes the booking fee. The only place that seems to be selling the tickets is the ticketmaster website but they then charge a Ј1.00 booking fee per ticket. Does anyone know if it will be possible to just pay at the gate on the night and then avoid the booking fee? (Even the family ticket charges a booking fee of 75p per person.)

A question about : Tv3

Hi - I have recently moved house and can't watch TV3 in the new place - its only about 0.5miles from old house where I had great TV3 reception.

I have re-tuned the tv but can't pick it up.

Any ideas about what else I could try?

A question about : Salty Bacon

Fried bacon today and it was so salty it was inedible. I had washed it in cold water before frying. Has anyone a method to A) determine if bacon is salty before cooking, other than licking it, yuk, and B) removing the salt. Would blanching help?

A question about : Driving License Renewal

Need to renew my driving license cos ive had it 10 yrs.Got a form from the post office that says to post everything to Coleraine but it also says that if you dont want to send your passport off to them to bring it to a one of the offices and theyll do a pos i.d on you but they been closed from July which makes me think that maybe the form is out of date.Was wondering if anyone has renewed their driving license in the last month or so and were they able to do it through Coleraine?

Can I get some advice please. I am a landlord and I have been getting annual gas safe tests carried out. I am about to register for the new landlord registration scheme which becomes mandatory next month and am confused as to whether I must also have an annual electrical test or not. From what I have read it may only be every 5 years and even then it may not be mandatory?
