A question about : Wood Pellet Boiler or Oil ? UFH or Radiators

In the middle of a new build house in the country, so no mains gas. After adding as much insulation as we can we have the dilemma of which heating system to install. It seems basically down to oil or wood pellets. I have researched GSHP and ASHP and heat recovery, which are not going to work out for us for various reasons.
insulation will be approx.
100mm Quinntherm in block cavity walls
125/150mm in the floors and a min of 300mm in the loft

A question about : Old Pine Floorboards needed URGENT!

Hi,

As the title suggests, I need some old pine floorboards as we a re renovating or house.

Does anyone know anywhere in Belfast where I can get some or is anyone locally throwing out or not requiring theirs due to their own renovating?

Dimensions are 13cm x 1.5cm x 300cm. If larger I can get them cut down to size.

A question about : Somewhere Free To Park Car South Belfast / Lisburn Direction for 4 days

2 couples will be travelling to Dublin airport for a long weekend trip. We both live quite a bit apart but would both need to travel through Belfast to go to Dublin. There is no sense in us both driving all the way to Dublin in separate cars so I was looking for somewhere to leave my car outside Belfast or even Lisburn that would be reasonably safe for 4 days.

I was even thinking of the Sprucefield Park & Ride as it is never full. Anybody any ideas?
