Driving License Renewal

A question about : Driving License Renewal

Need to renew my driving license cos ive had it 10 yrs.Got a form from the post office that says to post everything to Coleraine but it also says that if you dont want to send your passport off to them to bring it to a one of the offices and theyll do a pos i.d on you but they been closed from July which makes me think that maybe the form is out of date.Was wondering if anyone has renewed their driving license in the last month or so and were they able to do it through Coleraine?

• I sent my driving licence to Coleraine a couple of weeks ago, the new one arrived yesterday.

• I was on the phone with them yesterday as I need to change my name & address. V5 forms now go to Swansea but drivers license stuff still goes to Coleraine. I was told that here are a couple of places that will do the ID checks but the only one close by is the MOT centre in Boucher Road (Ards doesn't do it but I think it was Ballymena or Ballyclare that does).

• Hi folks. I sent my renewal of today and I would really really(!) like it for the 18th Feb. Thats 3 weeks tomorrow. What's the chances of me getting it? Cheers.
• Did you send it signed for and put a letter in saying that you needed quickly ?

• Received my be licence on Monday past which was only 8 days from posting application to Coleraine. Very impressed!
