A question about : Rubbish removal (without a skip)

Hi there, I was wondering if anyone knows of any good rubbish collection companies that won't overcharge? Our garage is full of the old carpets and underlay we just took up, as well as rubbish from redecorating.

We don't have transportation to take it to the dump ourselves (live in suburban London near a station so don't use a car) and it's too late to get a skip as there's nowhere to put it (all communal gardens).

A question about : Need one sided coat stand for narrow hall

Son is about to move into rented property with a narrow hall. Needs a narrow coat stand. He is sure he saw a one sided coat stand in a shop recently but cannot recall where. Cannot find one on the internet. As property is rented cannot install a wall mounted one. Anyone know of one?

A question about : Condensation in shed

I thought my shed's rood was leaking but have found out it is condensation. I have several damp places on inside the wooden roof. Pl any advice what to do, I have left the window slightly open. Am concerned the wooden part is going to be rotten, it has already got black damp patches .Thanks

What solution and implement should i sue to be able to clean it without degrading it?

A question about : Upvc lock problem

Hi,
I've got myself into a bit of trouble.

I have removed the barrel of my upvc door lock as I needed to measure it in order to replace it.

When I removed the barrel the door was open but the handle was pulled up and the door lock in the locked position.

I put the lock back in but now the key won't lock or unlock the door. Thankfully I didn't close the door to whilst doing this.

I've removed the barrel again and the key moves the cam whilst out of the door so the barrel itself seems to be working ok.

A question about : cleaning inside an electric kettle

I'm in a hard water area so white residue on the base and huge great bits of what I assume to be flakes of limescale but cream coloured attached as well. Very unpleasant. Tried boiling vinegar, using denture tabs and baking powder and leaving concoction overnight. About two thirds improved but still some way to fully clean. Does anyone else have other good tricks for really stubborn kettle gunk.

Ps if all that inside is limescsle can I use Vikal limescsle remover?
