A question about : Cheap family recipes website offline?

I used to use the cheap-family-recipes.org.uk website but the last time I went to visit it, it was offline. I've sent a message to lesleygcooper but haven't had an answer.

Does anyone know what's going on?

I decided to put it back online but the website isn't available so I registered cheap-family-recipes.org and put it up there instead and uploaded it there.

Hope that's useful for someone. Happy to hear from anyone about it.

My New Years resolution is a tad early but I need to start writing down my experience of paying off debt so I don't slip. It's so easy to fall back into old ways.

Firstly I have Ј4,080 worth of debt. To some that may seem a lot and to others not very much depending on what debts you have yourself. For me it's excruciating.

I'm 21 and I have a VERY big goal.

I currently live with my parents and aim to save Ј12,000 or more a year. My salary is very low (but I don't have any qualifications and I like my jobs).

Monthly Incomings 2015 (approximate/average):
Ј650 1st job (currently taxed, but shouldn't be - will get tax rebate, then should be Ј800ish per month after NI)
Ј250 2nd job
Ј100 interest on p2p lending
TOTAL: Ј1,000

A question about : Average amount of savings for a 30 year old...

Ok, so I know this question depends very much on circumstance, but I'm trying to get a general picture of what is considered 'average' in terms of how much a 30 year old (no mortgage) has.

I'm almost 30, and slowly getting out of debt, but have a VERY minimal amount of savings. I've always been boom/bust when it comes to money, and I love spending money- a habit that will have to change!!

I spend allot of time looking after the financial affairs of elderly relatives.

Prompted by Martin's TV appearances I checked my House Building and Contents renewal when I came through from Churchill. It was Ј930 including Ј50 interest on the monthly instalments.

Going on line, shopping around I got better cover for Ј180 including complimentary first year Home emergency cover.

A saving of Ј750 plus Ј200 on the home emergency cover I had.

A question about : How much do you earn and able to save a month?

Just Intrested in how much everyone is able to save a month after rent, bills etc. I'm currently able to save Ј400 a month after rent, bills and food. Some months it can be a struggle with unexpected bills. I earn about Ј1400 a month.
