A question about : paid up hill samuel private income plan..wot to do with it

could anyone suggest what to do with the above pension . I started it in 1991 and stopped contributions in 1997 as I was off having my son. Contributions were Ј20.00!! On returning to work approx 1996 I joined my companys pension (it is a good scheme in a utility company) and carried on paying 6% until returning to uni 2003. I am now a member of the nhs pension but am unsure what to do with the Hill Samuel pension.

A question about : Lost Asset -somewhere in America!

Hi all, my husband has recently found some info from an account he held in 1988 when living in Cincinnati. It was the First Natinal Bank, Cincinnati which I'm not sure still exists as this name. Please does anyone have ANY advice on how we go about locating the lost funds?... from reading the topics on this site I understand this is a relatively straight-forward process for lost UK assets ( ho hum

A question about : Car insurance cancellation fee

I have just been charged Ј25 for cancelling my churchills car insurance.
They renewed it automatically without my permision - I forgot to cancel in time but did so within 14 days of the renewal.
Surely they can't charge me for cancelling something I did not ask for???
Does anyone know my rights?

If you don't take a flight, you are entitled to claim the tax unpaid by the airline. I set about claiming the tax back and got this in return this morning:Dear Tuskar_Rock

With reference to your request for refund of taxes. Flybe charge an administration fee of Ј25 per person, per sector [that's flight leg].

As your taxes total Ј52.50 per person, this would be subject to an admin. fee of Ј50 per person, leaving a balance to refund of Ј2.50 per person.

A question about : Bank Reclaiming

I am hoping that someone could help me with my understanding of unfair charges!

Under the reclaiming guidelines, can you reclaim charges that have been made to a mortgage account for 'missed payment charges'. They are the same as bank charges in the region of Ј30.00 a time. Does this mean they too are unfair????

Any advise would be welcome.:confused:

Hello all, I stupidly fell for these people, I have been through a month of hell trying to get the money back, I was told this morning it would be Friday after I caught them out by filling in an online firm in an assumed name of a company they said was unconnected with them and they called me back lol! I'll believe it when I see it!

I have decided to try and use the power of social media to close down this company, or to at least warn people but I've never done this before so bear with me being a novice!

A question about : Ultralase

I am new to this forum, not sure if this is the correct place to post this.

In August 2012, I had laser eye surgery with Ultralase and included in that was a life time after care guarantee which include re treatment if required.

Since about 3 months in, one eye has had less than perfect vision and I have asked for re-treatment, and I was told you needed to have 3 visits worth of a constant prescription for retreatment.
