A question about : Financial Arbitration Ltd

Don't know if this is the right part of the forum to post this, however, has anyone heard of a company called Financial Arbitration Ltd based in Stockport?

They phoned last week claiming to be able to reclaim or get a discount of up to 60% on a car finance agreement through my business. Essentially they asked if I had any loans / borrowing and stated that there was a good chance that because of a technicality within the contract agreement, they could secure in the region of a 60% refund.

A question about : are Santander mortgage arrears charges and legal fees fair? FOS say they are!

I made a claim for a refund of arrears and (some) legal fees from Santander for my mortgage account. They refused to offer a refund and said their charges are fair and reasonable.

I passed the complaint to the FOS and it has not been passed to an Adjudicator.

A question about : Company offering to get Council tax reduced.

Out of the blue today we had a phone call from a company called Dalton and Dalton, tax consultants. During the call they said that our house was wrongly banded and that they could get us a reduction. the figure they are talking about is in the region of Ј3,000 (total added up over 19 years). when asked why they had contacted us they said that they had about 40 neighbours signed up [TEXT DELETED BY FORUM TEAM].

All the houses on the road are banded B on the yougov website.

Has anyone successfully claimed on a Northern Rock Together Mortgage. We are currently going through Gladstone Brookes to claim on our mortgage, wondered if anyone had been successful, how long it took and what sort of money they got back?

i had Ј9500 in savings

and had Ј500 in my bank account, and the rest in a savings aco!!!!

i went on a gambling site

put on Ј30 and lost

i very rarely check my bank statement, yes big mistake of my life

on christmas eve i went on my online bank, and said i was overdrawn, i thought strange, ok i might have spent abit on christmas but have never been overdrawn.

I thought best thing, transfer my savings and once the overdrawn was clear, i would transfer back to my savings.

A question about : Overhead power line compensation.

Hi All,

I had a letter a few days ago regarding compensation for power lines that cross over my house.

This was from a company called PCC who claimed to have been acting for the previous owner and been very close to the end of the claim after the previous owner had an offer.

I have since moved in around 3 months ago and they advise that I am entitled to this payment.

A question about : Anyone heard of a claim management company called ifonic?

I've received a cold called from a company called ifonic. Apparently for a Ј495 fee (which would be charged on to my credit card) they could get me a minimum of Ј5400! But they wanted my card details first. All this because they believed my mortgage advisor received a bonus from my mortgage lender for arranging the mortgage. Is this company legit??
