IVA & DRO

A question about : Help with wage one off payment

Hi,
I'm due to receive a one off non consolidated payment in my wage this month which is a pay progression pay out. This is because we no longer qualify for annual pay progression within my grade. I am concerned that because it comes in one lump my IVA provider will take 50% of it as they will see it as earnings. I have 19 months left to go on my IVA and this payment is supposed to cover the next 4 years.
My question is do they have the right to take it? I am very worried about this.

A question about : 4 years complete of DRO on credit file.

Hi February will be four years completed since taking out a DRO. and recently applied for a mid value mobile phone contract with a provider that I already have a low value contract with and was declined due to credit score.

I was wondering will I only be accepted for things again once the full years are completed and there fore the DRO is not on the credit file?

Also, is there anything I can do now to start improving my score (or will I just be declined over and over)?

I was accepted for a DRO on 8th jan and one of the creditors are threatening with debt collection agencies already if they dont receive payment. Can they keep asking for the money etc? Can they keep asling through the year?

Hi,

I'm a little worried and would really appreciate some advice. My IVA finished November last year, I've checked all 3 CRA's and my credit score is 999 (or equivalent), all the debts were over 6yrs old so there's no record of them on my credit reports. I've also checked the insolvency registry online and there's nothing showing so I believed everything to be finally done and dusted.

I was talking with a friend last night and she broke down in tears admitting her and her husband were on a IVA but were really struggling. Both her and her husband work, they hit problems when his overtime dried up. They have 3 children under 10 and 2 small dogs.

I had a look in old threads but couldn't find an answer to this:

My OH just received his completion certificate from Varden Nuttall. He paid his last IVA instalment in April 2014, and has been chasing for his completion cert. ever since - he'd already signed everything to do with PPI, and it had all been claimed and paid in years ago, in 2012, we think.
