A question about : IVA

Hoping someone can help?

3yrs into an IVA, with a projected Ј11k to pay back. Currently paying a dividend of 44p in the Ј.

Having got this far, keen to see it through to completion.

Just been made redundant, in receipt of Ј20k. My dilemna is as follows:

- We owe our inlaws Ј10k.
- I will need to keep back 6 months budget whilst I seek alternative employment.

How will this situation be looked upon by our IVA practitioner? we are with StepChange.

A question about : Ј90 DRO fee in instalments?

If I pay the Ј90 fee in instalments, does the DRO only start when the final payments have been made? Or does it start when the first instalment is paid?

Say if for any reason the DRO is not granted then you dont have to pay any more instalments?

Just come end of my IVA after 6 years and being asked for more money with no details why can I complain, company creditfixme took over simple debt solutions.

I've posted about my friend and her mad ideas before but I have a question.

Friend got into debt (stupid spending on credit cards/next account/ hire purchase) lost her job and couldn't afford the repayments. After I found out we phoned CCCS together and they came up with a debt payment plan. Friend still has a few years to go on it.

As you are aware, I cancelled my IVA end of July 2014 due to these cowboys upping my payments beyond affordability.

Well its now January, and I've still not got nowhere near to receiving the failure certificate so I can apply for a DRO.

I have made repeated calls to DFD, I had a variation meeting on the 30th December and last week received the chairpersons report.

When I phoned them begining of January to again chase for the paperwork, I was fobbed off and told another 6 months.

hope someone can help
im going under a DRO this week but have just been informed that i will be receiving compensation from an injury claim that has been going on years - bad timing eh!!
my question is , i have included all my official debts within the debt releif order but i still owe a lot of money to family.
