A question about : Pro-Rata Equivalent

Hi all,

My brain is a little cabbaged after a hard weeks work.

I have seen a job with the main detailed required copied and pasted below.

Hours of work: 32 hours per week
Salary : Ј16,000 - Ј18,000 dependant on experience and qualifications (pro-rata)

Has anyone got an idea of the salary for this on a 32 hour week?

Are they classing 16-18K as a banding of a full-time post? Will they class a full week 40 or 37.5 hours?

Or, is the 16-18k the salary banding on an already pro-rata'd basis?

A question about : Self employment NI contributions

I'm working self employed and looking on the tax calutator in do not need to pay and class 2 or 4 contribution air tax as my earning or so low how will this effect me if I need to claim and benefits or penision in later life .?

I have worked at my current employer for 3 years 11 months. In December 2014 a new manager was appointed to lead the team. I had a personality conflict with this person, so I started job hunting.

A question about : refund for training not yet started due to resigning

I have just resigned from my job and have accepted new offer. 3 weeks ago i signed up to self fund my NVQ3 and put 285 deposit down from an online training company. Have been told that i had only 7 days to cancel booking for refund, which was 11 days ago, is there anyway i cant get my deposit back as new employer will fund my training and i haven't received any materials from online training company

i currently work a job that I'm not really interested in or passionate about, and it's also a job that doesn't fulfil me. i want a job that i at least want to get up for in the morning.

the people i work with are okay but are around a similar age to me (24) and some are older but they all have very similar attitudes and personalities.
