A question about : RSUs and (non-)residency

I'm trying to understand how RSUs are taxed when someone becomes non-resident after a grant or when someone becomes resident after a grant during non-residency.

I found HMRC manual ERSM20300 but have trouble understanding the manual.

I understand that RSUs are seen as money's worth, which made me believe that they are taxed like cash bonuses, i.e. taxed in the year of receipt but you have to consider what period the bonus was for (i.e. which parts you were NR or R). Is this correct?

can anyone advise me on the following
I am 59 and no longer working and my husband is 60 and is still working full time. I do not receive any income whatsoever so wanted to know if there is any way I can let my husbaqnd use my 10k tax free allowance ??? legally ofcourse

Hi all.

I found out earlier this year that I had to pay either Ј600 in Van tax because I use my parents company van for my own work, or pay a Ј3000 contribution back to them. I pay for the diesel, but this I had no idea about so it came as a nasty shock.

A question about : Reporting a lifetime gift

My father wishes to make gifts of cash to his children, the total of which will exceed his nil-rate-IHT band. Does he need to submit a formal notice of such a gift to HMRC, as well as keeping his own record together with this will?

And in the case of his own record, does it have to be in the form of a special legal 'Deed of Gift' with a specific wording or is a simple file note sufficient?

Any pointers greatly appreciated.
