A question about : Memory foam: why so expensive?

Just stayed in a hotel in Europe which had a 2 inch topper mattress over the base mattress. Don't know if it was memory foam, but it was very comfortable.

So I thought I might buy something similar to rejuvenate my old mattress at home.
But why are memory foam toppers so expensive? Even the ASDA ones are 50 quid?

It's only a bit of foam, isn't it?

A question about : Good quality tableware

Hi All,

I'm after some good quality durable (won't chip in most clashes with it's family) tableware - preferably in sets as paying per plate etc frustrates me!

I like the proper Denby stuff (i.e. not the 'everyday' or 'intro' ranges) - it would win a fight against the kitchen tiles, but the price is ridiculous (in my opinion). I'm looking for something just as good but for half the price if such a thing exists.

Help?!

I'm looking to buy some glasses and I found the models I liked in www.selectspecs.com and www.eyewearcentre.com

I done a bit of research and it seems that SelectSpecs is based in Kent whereas EyewearCentre (also known as Giarre) is based in Italy. Both offer cheap/free delivery.

Looking for a new headboard for our bed, I found one, the Revo, online at Dreams for Ј159.00 with free delivery and started to order. Meanwhile, my wife was Googling the same headboard and when she found that Headboards UK supplied the Revo also with free delivery, for Ј124.00, I scrapped my email to Dreams. I then got an email from them saying that I hadn't completed my order and offering me the chance to do so. I replied quoting the lower price.

A question about : An Iron and a vacuum.

I need to get the above 2 items and wondered if anyone has any recommendations?

Have heard universally good things about Miele Cylinder vacuum's so am leaning towards them. Budget Ј200-Ј250?

Have no idea what-so-ever regarding irons. Have a budget of Ј80-Ј100? Don't want one of those big steam generating things.
