A question about : Wanna buy a 500mm electric cooker, with double oven.

Hi Newbie here. I'm moving into a new house in the next couple of weeks and need to buy a 500mm wide freestanding electric cooker. Preferably with a double oven and grill. If I was going to be really fussy I'd say something other than white and with a ceramic hob, but I realise at that width, the options are limited. I've had a look online but I'm getting a bit lost as I've only ever used gas before. Any recommendations or tips for what I should be looking out for?

A question about : wanna buy > fitted king size extra deep sheets

having our new bed delivered on thursday (what a palava that was!!)
now we need sheets for it, but it seems not all sheets are created equal :/ the mattress is a bensonns connoisseur supreme with a pillow top, and comes in at 36cm deep
obviously having spent a fortune on the bed, it's left a smaller than desired budget (especially with both our birthdays in the next week),
We're wanting ideally a flannelette one for snugliness

I've spent the weekend searching for kitchen storage tins, for tea, coffee, sugar, bread, utensils, cake and other kitchen/household stuff. I can't find anything in charity shops and I'm shocked at the cost in the shops - I almost fainted in Cook!

A question about : Cheap watch-style calorie & step counter/HRM

Looking for a calorie/step counter/HRM-type gadget to wear like a watch and one where you don't need to wear a strap across your chest. Need it mainly to log calories while exercising which is why a fob-style device isn't suitable. I already have one of those but as I go to Zumba classes I don't have a way of wearing it without it either bouncing around or falling off its clip or my waistband etc.

A question about : I want to buy a meat slicer.

I'm prepared to spend a bit of money on a meat slicer but I really would like to know what works and what doesn't. I would like to slice meat thinly and make my own bacon. Most reviews seem to say that the serrated blades, which seem to be on most slicers, often rip the meat and thin slices are difficult. The Ritter Icaro 7 looks good, does anyone own one? Can any one recommend an alternative.
