where to buy silica gell in Cardiff ?

A question about : where to buy silica gell in Cardiff ?

Daughter is a student in cardiff & I live in northern ireland & am not (yet) familiar with shops in cardiff. daughter dropped mobile phone into sink full of water yesterday. Trying to dry it out before going through insurance process (Ј50 excess to pay)
Phone is currently in a sealed bag of uncooked rice -as per online advice - but an even better idea is to put it in a bag of silica gel.??
I can order this online but it'll take a few day's to arrive.

Help please

A question about : Help please

Can you advise who the best electricity supplier is for an economy 7 split tariff (4 hours night and 3 hours day) is in North Wales?

We are currently with Scottish Power on a key meter but are looking now to change it to a monthly direct debit payment meter?

Any help will be gratefully received. I'm absolutely useless at finding good deals. title=Frown

This is disgusting, setting charges for using our countryside! I thought we were trying to encourage people to walk and exercise.

      • Of course. How many times do we hear ' they were all speaking English before we went in.'
      • Welsh speaking claimants do not need to use translators. The DWP and other organisations, like HMRC, have Welsh speaking departments and alternative means of contacts to deal directly in Welsh. The newspaper refers to immigrants.

Free e-zines in Wales except Gwynedd

A question about : Free e-zines in Wales except Gwynedd

      welshlibraries.org ( https://welshlibraries.org/e-resources/e-magazines/ )
offer any member of a Welsh library outside Gwynedd a choice of over 250 magazines that can be read for free on a range of devices such as an e-reader, tablet, smartphone, laptop or PC (the latter using a free software download 'Zinio Reader 4').
