A question about : Merlin Annual Pass 2014/2015

Hi everyone,

Alot of you may know there has been uproar after Merlin's 'Sale' actually meant a price increase on their annual passes...

Apparently, their 'sale' is a reduction on next years prices....? I've never heard anything like it!

I'd been holding out for the Boxing Day Merlin 'Sale', as I'd noticed over the years they'd been reduced to half price....just my luck that when it comes to ordering myself, the prices go up!

A question about : Short UK break ideas (adults, no children, open-minded, almost any area)

I've travelled fairly far and wide abroad, but have been to pitifully few places in the UK. I want to discover more of this country - it's about time!

Looking for somewhere to spend 2-3 nights in early June. We're in the North West, and would consider anywhere within a 4-5hr drive of Manchester. Thus counting out the very far south of England, or the very far north of Scotland.

We are staying in the Dakota Nottingham hotel on valentines night, just a night away from the hectic life.

They called me the other day offering a meal for 2 for Ј89 which includes entertainment.

Im really after anyone who knows of any restaurants in the area of the hotel or Nottingham that offer a romantic meal with entertainmnt such as a live piano player while you eat?

I am hoping I might be able to get some information on a proposed trip to London for my husbands birthday in April. We are in Scotland so I have been looking online at transport options and at the moment my choices are:

Trains direct from Glasgow to Euston Ј130 for 2 adults (Virgin Trains)
Fly from Glasgow Prestwick to Stansted Ј101 for 2 adults (Ryanair)
Fly from Glasgow International to Gatwick Ј130 for 2 adults (Easyjet)

A question about : Merlin Annual Passes- Ring-fencing??

I ordered some annual passes last year for my family at a total cost of Ј357 (reduded from about Ј510ish) on 30th Dec. Around mid Jan I realised I had no confirmation e-mail or details to collect them, but the money had been taken out of my account.
