A question about : Insurance for DIY holiday

Looking for some guidance on what travel insurance I need to cover the following scenario.

We have booked a holiday, flights and villa separately.

There's been numerous threads on this board where people haven't got insurance and then everyting goes pearshaped and its obviously too late then to get insurance.

Going on a cruise in November and yesterday was discussing when to get insurance - because of our holiday plans was thinking of getting an annual policy.

So when would be the optimum time to get insurance - at the moment, if we did have to cancel we'd only lose the deposit and this is the case up to 90 days beforehand.

A question about : E-ticket by qatar airways

I happen to check manage my account on Qatar airways and find that one of my itinerary has changed. Surely the airlines should have informed me about it. I do not know whether I should ignore it as on my e-ticket it is already confirmed. Pl help anybody, I do not know how to contact the airlines? Thanks

A question about : Water Socks / Shoes / Coral Shoes for kids

Hi

I am off to Sharm in the next month and kids will want to play in the sea. I know from before there is coral even near the beach which is sharp.

I have heard you can get water socks or shoes (or something) that will help protect feet.

Does anyone where to get them from?

I was hoping for some advice. I'm thinking of booking a holiday to Greece and haven't really kept up with the politics of the situation over there. Is it advisable to travel there and if so what sort of problems will I emcounter if any? Booking for a resort this April/May

A question about : Family holiday to Greece at Easter

We're planning on going to Greece for a week in the Easter holiday with our 10yr old. We are not interested in beach holidays, more into the cultural things. We were thinking about going somewhere near Athens but open to other suggestions. Any good hotel recommendations, tips on where to go and not to go?

A question about : Avoid Teletext Holidays

Just wanted to warn people of my very recent experience with Teletext Holidays which is unresolved...

I booked a holiday with Teletext Holidays on Saturday 14th May to Malta for 7 people which included accommodation and flights (or so I thought!!)

A deposit was taken at the time for the flights. I have received the documents from Ryan Air only to find out that ‘Vikram’ from Teletext Holidays has booked 7 flights to Malta and only two back to the UK!
