A question about : Nice places to live in either the Barnsley or Manchester area?

I have a few job opportunities for a company I used to work with, if I was successful in my application, it would mean relocating from the north east. The 3 locations are Barnsley, Manchester and Rochdale.

I would be looking for a nice place to live, I am married and have a 12 year old daughter, so schools will be important, house price budget is Ј200k and need a minimum 3 bedroom detached house, preferably a new house or would love to be in the countryside.

A question about : Council Gym

I have been a member of my local council gym for a few years. but have only been maybes 4-5 times in the last two years due to injury (last time i attended was last May).

Would i be able to claim back the money i have paid in that period of inactivity (Ј24.50 per month).?

Does anyone have any experience of this company please? Never heard of them before but walked into the showroom on spec today and was very impressed. Just wary about spending a load of money without a recommendation!

A question about : Nottingham City Centre Parking

I will be starting a new job in Nottingham city centre in a few months. The only problem I am finding is that the cost of car parking in Nottingham is extortionate!
I do not live in Nottingham, I have considered taking the train/tram but I will be required to be at work at 4/5am some mornings and trains and trams do not run at these times.

Does any body know of anywhere that is relatively cheap and not too far from market square?
