Hi everyone!

We ran this last year and your Xmas/Jan sale bargain pictures were fantastic. They included a Lancome Christmas box and Ј27 Christian Louboutin shoes from a charity shop! See the Full Xmas Saver 2013 extravaganza.

So we're running it again this year. Yay

• I got the lancome red xmas beauty box for Ј42.50 in the Debenhams sale when buying a double pack mascara during the 15% off beauty sale. I also got a half price estee lauder revitalising kit from Boots, fantastic savings.
  I upped my quidco cashback by Ј44.46 by shopping online.
• 2.5kg potatos for 5p, a packet of parsnips for 5p (not out of date) and christmas flowers for 45p.

  thanks to the amazing MSE forums this Christmas I:
  I switched energy companies, getting Ј30 Quidco cash back, saving Ј200 a year and earning nectar points!
  I also managed to get a cash back paying current account and credit card earning me cash back on Christmas shopping!
  Best bargain was the Ј2.50 free range turkey I got my chance at Waitrose on Christmas eve, saving me Ј62.50 and I got 5% cash back on the purchase!
• Mine is slightly different... From reading lots of threads & the weekly emails on here, I used an old current account to switch to M&S for the Ј125 gift card incentive. I then used this to pay for the turkey & veg for Christmas Day lunch, and some wrapping paper & other bits-yes, M&S is more expensive than other supermarkets, but it was effectively free & I still have around Ј80 on it to spend!
• Ј4.20 for three fragrance gift sets (Prada, JPG and Yardley) with Tesco Clubcard boost. Free delivery to store. From weekly email on MSE.

  A cordless drill, original price Ј29.99, sale price Ј21.99, vouchers used from doing online surveys Ј20, cost to me Ј1.99
  I don't do a huge amount of online surveys but it just shows how a few minutes each day soon mounts up.
  Normally I use the High St vouchers for everyday stuff and save money on my regular weekly shop but as my existing battery powered drill packed up a few months ago, I decided to treat myself in the January sales and I used the last of this years vouchers to put towards my purchase
• I bought Jimmy Choo Flash gift set for 15 quid for a present and its still Ј30 in the sales and 45 beforehand. Happy days.
• I made christmas arrangements instead of gifts for my family and friends using stuff I found (& a bag of oranges donated by my neighbour). It was totally free and much loved
  Also used my clubcard vouchers to get a tree and lights for free! Yay!
• I got this tree reduced to 10p and as its a real one it will go in the garden in a bigger tub and then next year we will dig it up and place it on the table xmas day
• I bought a Panasonic Soundbar for my TV. Normally Ј359, reduced to Ј219 then I had a voucher to take off a further Ј25, meaning I paid Ј194.
  This purchase was to replace a Suround Sound system that wasn't working for me. I had originally bought it (RRP Ј499) for Ј150, but sold it the week before Christmas for Ј210.
  This means my new Soundbar cost me Ј134.
• A new loo and wash basin desperately needed before I re-do my tatty bathroom.
  I'd planned to look in the sales anyway but this thread popped up on the Grabbit board on Christmas day.

  Ј60 including delivery for both ........and as my Quidco cashback amounts to Ј70 for Christmas shopping (including the Ј50 bonus but excluding the Ј40 cashback from BG for boiler cover as I did that later on boxing day) it is essentially cash neutral so absolute bargain .
  In fact I could claim it's a MSE freebie as MSE led me to Quidco in the first place

• My best bargain this year has been many but the latest was walking in to Co-op on the 22nd and finding two beef joints already half price per Kg and finding them for a few Ј's.
  One was Ј2.39 for what was almost Ј10 and the other was a slightly bigger joint at Ј3.09 instead of over Ј10 @ the 1/2 price per kg.
  No room in the freezer (but don't let that stop me ) one for me and one I gave to our daughter.
  I chopped mine up into a 1kg+ joint and 2 x 450g of cubed beef (did a curry with one of the two cubed packs and froze the other and the joint).
  Daughter did a similar thing.
  I also got some Indian selection snacks (samosas etc.) for 79p and some mini hot dogs for 99p and buy the 3 together (didn't notice until I was at the till) it was 3for2. Also got loads of other bits and had a Ј1.50 off when I spent Ј15.
  I went in the following day and spotted two lobster tails per pack B.B.F 25th (got 3 packs) were Ј10 paid Ј5.49 and used a Ј2 off coupon, spot on to go with the starter on Christmas Day.

  After much browsing and reviewing I decided on a Kenwood multipro seen in Tesco for Ј120.
  Daughter had a save Ј20 if you spend over Ј100 on electricals.
  Had Ј20 to use on double up taking another Ј40 off.
  Had Ј40 from my share of work syndicate.
  Left me with Ј20 to pay.
  Bargain.

  When renewing home insurance we used top cashback and got Ј35 paid in tesco clubcard points. As well as using Bzzagent, orchard to get CC points, and shopping at tesco.
  We waited until they had their big toy sale and big gift sale, and it co-incided with the tesco boost for a week.
  i also saved a voucher they sent october, which gave Ј15 off when spending over Ј75.
• and a 2nd order.... 2x wow toys racing car twins, princess ariel toddler doll, hornby airfix mini cooper (double set), and a disney princess dressing up dress.... all in tesco toy sale, and all paid for with clubcard points.
