A question about : Writers:Share
Hi Guys,
I just joined this new site called Writers:Share.

Basically you leave a comment of about 2-4 papragraphs and as long as the editors approve of it then it gets published and you recieve Ј1 per comment. They pay directly into paypal every friday, no matter how much you have earnt! I joined last night and I was paid Ј2 for my 2 comments today.
They also give 25p for every comment to charity.
After 50 comments your money goes up to Ј1.50 per comment and after 500 comments you get a Ј50 bonus.
I thought I would share this with all you people who are looking for an easy way to supplement your income, I grant you it isn't a lot of money but at the same time, it all adds up and it takes about a minute to write each comment.

- It seems there is no garaunte that they will use your comment. It seems like they only a specific amount of comments for each topic, so you could spend a while writing comments that never get used. I think it'd be ok if you just spent a few minutes a day writing the comments but sitting there trying to earn Ј10 an hour with the possibility of getting nothing out of it seems like a bit of a gamble. I have had a go so I'll let you know how I get on. It states that it can take upto 5 working days to get confirmation that your comment will be used, then you recieve payment the following Friday as OP stated.
It'd be good if it was more like slice the pie where you earn every time you do it, even if it was just a few pence. But you gotta be in it to win it ey - cheers for that about the spam i was havin a blond moment!!
have done a couple but think im gonna wait now to see if they are gonna be used before i do more - Thanks for this. It's a slightly bizarre combination of topics, but it's got to be worth a shot, right?

- Looks interesting - they say they accept about 80% of comments that are submitted. Will have to have a go!

Does anyone know how often new questions get put up and how many? - What I would like to know where my comments end up and what they get out of it? What is the whole point of this Writers share stuff??????
- I see, very clever. So what they have are generic websites which will come up on searches as all their generic sites are the highly prized ones like money sites, clothes sites that are going to be full of paid links but actually give no value to the searcher.
The contributers to the site will aid these generic sites make lots of money. A pretty good idea, but I am an INTERNET purist and get enraged by all those useless link sites on top of the searches. - and anyway Google adjusts their search Engine to ignore this type of rubbish all the time
- I think its a great way for them to make money, it means websites without content will get some and writers who wouldnt otherwise get published on the net will get stuff online, allbeit without knowing where its going.
- Thanks for this! have just left my first comment so we will see if they use it. I could do with earning a few extra pennies being on maternity leave and this sounds like a good way to do it (as long as my comments get published of course!) Think i will do another one and wait and see if i get paid for them before doing anymore.
