A question about : Woop Woop

I will be 54 years old in 1 week's time and this is the first thing I have ever won. YAY!!!! It's a one night stay in Travel Lodge (which I use quite often) and I'm really chuffed. However, I entered quite a few Travel lodge competitions so I can't thank the person who added it to the board. But whoever it was - lots of hugs and thanks from me. I'm so excited!!!!!
But why oh why can I not add smilies to my message????

  Re the smilies; try dragging them in to the text when you're writing. The only time I tried to use them, that was the only way I could get it to work.
