Windows 7 Laptop going slow

A question about : Windows 7 Laptop going slow

Can anyone please tell me why my Windows 7 Laptop is going slow?

It is running firefox and every command has to be clicked at least 3 times before working.

I have cleared the cache and cleared the clipboard

• It could be a few things, have a look in task manager and see if there is anything eating CPU cycles or how much free memory you have.
  How much disk space do you have free ?
  Have you scanned the PC using something like malwarebytes ?
  Do you have more than one antivirus program installed ?
  The list goes on and it's a process of elimination.
• Run CCleaner .
  Try another browser .
• It would be wise to Try another browser and run some scans as suggested above. Though keep in mind every click is normally recorded - so every click actually slows the laptop down that little bit more...

  How full is the hard drive?
