A question about : Where to give branded winter coat
Hi all,
I have a very thick and warm winter coat that I'm looking to get rid of, however it's branded with the logo of a company (and it also neon yellow!). I tried getting the logo off with a hairdryer but to no avail. Would like to get it into the hands of someone on the streets now the Winter is moving in, but wonder if homeless charities would be able to use it.
Any suggestions on where to donate it?
Cheers

Best answers:
- You're in Bristol? Crisis Centre / The Wild Goose. Caring at Christmas / Caring in Bristol. Salvation Army in Ashley Road. Julian Trust - they're more difficult to contact because no paid staff.
One question though, will the company whose logo is on this coat mind who wears it?
PM me if you struggle to find contact details with a google, or none of them give out clothing. - A lot of charities will sell clothes that they can't sell to rug company. So it is still useful to them. You can try to contact Big Issue too as during winter, they collect winter clothes for their vendors.
