A question about : Where to get free or cheap IT kit?
We need to source some IT equipment for our local Samaritans.
Does anyone know of any source for free or cheap kit?
We also need a copy of Windows 98 SE (or the upgrade) if anyone has one they would like to donate.
Thanks.

- Have you ever herd of Freecycle?

I'm a member of the new Plymouth group among others. IT stuff is often advertised here for the taking, along with a load of other stuff you may be able to use.
Good luck.
Hugo - There's a sticky over on the main small biz & charities board which has a little bit of info about IT kit, but I can't vouch for its up-to-date ness.
Otherwise freecycle is a good place to look. Or putting an appeal in your local paper.
