What a huge difference

A question about : What a huge difference

I was looking on past competitions to give myself some inspiration as you know its been a while,anyway what a difference in prizes and the amount of prizes actually being won,if you look back just a few years you will see pages and pages of winners on the same day and winning fantastic prizes,its seems there are not as many people winning and not as many fantastic prizes,have you noticed this?

• Due to the recession most likely
• yes - too many people chasing pointless prizes
  they think its a 'gain some extra income' as banged on about before in the mse email
  soon leave though
• or that people no longer post in IWIWIW due to nastiness from others
  plus lots more people comp and not all use mse
• look at the amount of junk that is bandied about a lot of the rafflecopters
  ceratinly not things worth announcing thats been won
• Pepsi used to run some fab comps,but then again since someone complained that they only won only Ј500 i dont suppose they have run anymore.
• I've had over 5 pm's in the last week from peeps
  that have won big/quite big prizes from comps I've posted
  but prefer to pm rather than post on the winners board,
  so it seems lots of wins aren't posted on the boards now,
  think that's happening quite a bit now.
• i had a nice PM last week thanking me for giving the answer to comp that they won- they said the same kind of reason for not posting in iwiwiw
• I remember when Take A Break and That's Life had a car each week on offer . Things have really changed there were never all these little comps for Ј10 or vouchers. I am talking from many years of experience.
