What could I watch on Sky box after contract cancellation?

A question about : What could I watch on Sky box after contract cancellation?

Hello. Have Sky basic package + Movies + Multiroom + HD which costing over Ј60 per month and considering movies are pretty poor at moment starting to think about either going to BT or something else. Quick question though. Got Sky HD plus boxes x 2. If I cancel Sky contract for both or maybe just multi room what would I be able to watch on the boxes? Am I right in assuming all the record and store functions would no longer work?

• Neither answer is right - but jem16 is right that you won't be able to record, or watch anything that you've already recorded.
  Pulling the card out means losing the encrypted channels - leaving the card in after subscription ends, puts you onto 'freesatfromsky' which you'll hear other people talking about buying a Ј25 card for - you've already got that card, don't pay for another!

  What's out of date about Sky's list - surely they would get in trouble if they were selling something they don't provide?
