at Waitrose, reduced from Ј2.00.

They were just being reduced in the Esher brach about half an hour ago but I imagine it's part of a nationwide directive.

The tub is a mix of spicy Wotsits, Monster Munch, French Fries and Doritos.

Expiry 20/12/14 but they are sealed inside so would keep until Christmas easily.

• I bought some of these for work the other day - they're really nice.
• Asda reduced these to 50p a couple of days ago, they had loads in my local store. The spicy ones are lovely, haven't tried the cheese ones yet
• It'll only be a 'nationwide directive' if it's actually the price on the shelf edge ticket that's showing the reduction. If it's the normal reduction stickers that'll be the individual branch's discretion.
  Still, good deal though. Always worth checking supermarkets this time of year for reductions on anything they've overstocked on. And always good to check on Christmas Eve for reductions if the shop will be closed Christmas Day and they have to get rid anything dated then early - bonus if the shop is also closed Boxing Day so they have three days worth of food to shift in one day, stuff goes even cheaper! Reduction hunting is a Christmas Eve tradition in my house, normally feed ourselves through to the New Year for a couple of quid if we're lucky.
