A question about : voluntary Redundancy
Hi, I am about to take voluntary redundancy. My current salary is Ј35000 & my wife earns Ј12000. I am completely changing jobs & have managed to find another job but paying a lot less Ј18,500, so this will mean our combined household income will drop from Ј47000 to Ј30500. We have two children age 5 & 12, does anyone know if we would be able to claim any top up working tax or other benefits with the big drop in income? Thanks
Best answers:
- You might be better off posting this on the Benefits and Tax Credits forum, unless you have a query about your redundancy terms and payments. Regulars on that forum are likely to be able to answer your question.
- Will do many thanks
- Try typing your details into www.entitledto.co.uk and you will get an indication of what you might be entitled to.
