Verona Transfers to Lake Garda

A question about : Verona Transfers to Lake Garda

Hi,

I was looking at this at the start of June, but cant find any good information on Transfers. I was looking to stay here:

Has anyone stayed here or can advise me on cheap transfers ?

• Verona, is only about 1hr from Lake Garda.
  You can use a train or a bus, neither of which are expensive. Cannot advise on your hotel, as have only stayed in Verona on business trips and not in Garda.
• thanks for that, but I cant see where I can find the information on the bus/train that will take me to the hotel....

• I literally drove right past that location in the summer. It's a really beautiful area, you'll love it.
  Best way to get there though is almost definitely hire car. It's unlikely to be massively more than a transfer, and you'll probably want a car whilst you're there.
• Have you tried contacting the hotel to see if they can tell you the best way to get to the hotel? I've stayed in Verona and took a bus to Lake Garda and it wasn't too difficult, but I'm not sure that I would want to start my holiday by getting a bus, but would probably be OK at the end of the holiday.
• I second car hire.

• I'm not that confident with driving in a foreign country eeeeek - might give it a go though if public transport from the airport to there is gonna be tricky !
• You can get a bus from Verona airport to lake Garda, takes just over an hour, have a look at www.visitgarda.com for timetable

• I have stayed at Parc Hotel Germano in Bardolino a few times. This is maybe 10 minutes closer to Verona than your hotel in Garda. Private car transfer when I last booked it (via the hotel) was 66 EUR each way. This was summer 2013.
• Thanks for that - although im hopfully going to be travelling up and down the lake, so will stick with the car option. Has anyone been to the thermal pools ?
