A question about : Under payment
I have recieved a letter from the Tax man saying I have had two employments at the same time and both employers were applying a PAYE code etc...
They are saying I owe Ј803.20 from the years 2011-2012 and 2012-2013.
I have tried to call the but after being on hold for 30mins I gave up 
I have never worked for two employers at the same time, I left my old company before starting work with my new company. However my old company was always late with wages (I left in the June but didn't get all my wages that was owed untill September) what can I do to prove I have paid tax, I have moved house since this time so not even sure where all my old pay slips are
I already paid Tax credits back 2 years ago because they said they over paid me but I disagreed (but appeal was declined)
How can they leave it this long to say I owe this money and what can I do to fight it.
Any help would be great.

- Still don't really understand as the money company 1 paid me was what they should have paid me in June, before I joined company 2 so I have only worked 1 job at a time. At no time have I worked for 2 jobs at the same time

I just don't understand as I have always had tax taken out of my wages before getting my wages so don't get why being charged again.

What year did you change jobs- 2011 or 2012.
Do you have your P60'S showing what tax code you were on each year?
