TrueCrypt Alternative Data Encryption

A question about : TrueCrypt Alternative Data Encryption

I note the publishers of TrueCrypt have terminated support for the program and the subsequent rumors of a NSA infiltration into the team and a possible back-door into the password. I was content to continue using it because there is no suggestion yet that anyone other than the NSA can gain unorthorised access and I don't care if the NSA see what I have.
However an alternative just came to my attention called Toolwiz BSafe and I was wondering if anyone has heard of any security issues related to that software as I am considering using it instead.

• I am still using Truecrypt 7.1a, and expect to be doing so for quite some time.

• Snowden's gleened reports say in 2012 Trucrypt was still counted by the NSA as one of the "most wanted - verboten" list, so it may not be that unsecure

• I swapped from Truecrypt to DiskCryptor on my Win7 laptop recently. I use whole drive encryption.
  I'd tried VeraCrypt but it took about 10 minutes to authenticate the boot password so was useless.
  DiskCryptor is much faster for me on my slow laptop as it offers Serpent encryption (along with AES and Twofish) which is 3x faster than AES according to DiskCryptor's built-in benchmarking.
• I use EcryptFS for my home directory, EncFS for external backups.
  I used to use TrueCrypt some time ago, but I don't like the idea of containers which cannot be resized.
  I wouldn't trust any closed source encryption software, especially from a company like Microsoft...
