  • Clara net or www.1and1.co.uk are the best value I've found.
Can't help you with transferring if domain is not in your name. It doesn't have to be your email address though for you to own it.
If it is a ".uk" domain , you should go to https://www.nominet.org.uk/ and do a WhoIS search on your domain name (bottom left of page). This will say who owns the domain, which is independent from who administers it for you.
If it's a ".com" then you should go to www.networksolutions.com/cgi-bin/whois/whois
  • Thanks for your help

what do you guys think of www.netfirms.com
  • I use ultradomains.com for domains and discountasp.net for hosting.
  • Cheap hosting I use https://www.dayanahost.com/
Perfect for small hosting and only Ј10 - Ј20 PA defending on space required.
Your IPSTAG STAYS where it is and you change the nameservers only. That way they dont deal with domain renewals
happy to chat on phone to help out

  • www.ukreg.com are probably the best uk domain registry service..
I know loads of fantastic professional hosts but they're quite expensive offering HUGE amounts of bandwidth and space which you probably won't need..
erm.. I'm trying to remember the best small host I know of but can't remember their name.. will get back to you..
