A question about : Slimtone plus Raspberry Ketone

I was emailed today about Sample Raspberry Ketone For 2 Weeks: #1 Selling Diet Product In The UK.
Having been caught out by the Nutrascience free trial that is so tightly wrapped in terms and conditions you end up paying Ј75 for a tub of useless tablets, I checked the Slimtone Plus link and lo and behold, same free trial Ts&Cs.
BTW: I have looked all over the net for retribution for Nutrascience, and haven't found a single post where someone says they returned the goods within the strategically hidden 14 day trial period, and didn't get stung. I have seen hundreds of posts from people who, like me were hoodwinked out of lots of money.....

• Yeh and whys that work it out by the time the product has arrived your 14 days trial are up then they can charge you Ј75 no way round it as they say they need you to return the product which comes from Ireland before they close your account but 14 days are up before it arrived it's all a con don't sign up and if you have the only way to stop it is to cancel your debit card and get a new one

  As a registered dietitian (RD) and personal trainer, my advise is to stop wasting your money on weight loss pills and and other snake oils... trust me, if such a product ever really comes to market, you will know about it.
  Good old fashioned diet and exercise will always be the key to healthy weight loss!
• For some reason, slimjimmy links to a commercial site, https://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raspberry_ketone whilst this is the link to the wikipedia site it references directly.
  The rest of his post it quite agreeable - remember if an 'alternative medicine' works, it becomes 'medicine' - willow bark begat aspirin, for instance, so if any kind of snake oil is promoted directly on the internet to purchasers, it is a pretty direct indication that it doesn't actually work.
• Does anyone have a return address for the company that offers the free trial(?) or SlimTonePlus (Raspberry Ketone) and BodyCleanse Plus. I have sent them an e-mail but it has been returned undelivered. I ordered this stuff on 4th October and want to cancel and return unopened, but without a return address I am going to get clobbered for the cost. Also, don't see how I can cancel without an address or valid e-mail address. Anyone - HELP please.
• I would suggest that you contact your card issuer asap and explain exactly what the problem is.
  Tell them that you have attempted to obtain a return address but the company concerned will not supply one, and therefore you want to make them aware that if any payment is taken, you will be disputing it.
• Any "free trial" that requires you to enter credit/debit card details is very likely to be a subscription based scam/rip-off.
  As above - contact card issuer, these companies have been known to sign you up to sister sites and cannot be trusted to cancel.
• I foned slimtone plus to complain about them taking Ј75.00 out of my bank account for an order that i didn't ask for , they told me that when you order the free trail, which costs Ј4.95 to cover post and packaging, that your are charge Ј75.00 to cover the 14 day trail, i did cancel the order, she told me that you still have to pay the full amount, which she said is explained in the terms and conditions, which i never read, i would like to know if any one else seen this explained in the terms and conditions, if any one is thinking about trying slimetone for the free trail, please do not it is nothing but a money making scam, these company's should not be allowed to get away with this, its false advertising.
• you have to ring 08447459698 to get a returns no. & the system won't let you in unless you can give them your phone no. exactly as you gave it on original order. The return address Vision, PO box 111, Shannon, County Clare Ireland. You have to return half the tablets or you get charged; you have to send it International recorded delivery because if you can't prove it arrived by their deadline you get charged Ј75.
  These may help but as you need to do diet & exercise as well - per their leaflet why not just diet & exercise and save the "special offer price " of Ј37.50 (you can get it from Amazon for Ј18.50)
• I have posted the return address but you have to phone to get a returns no. too. Also they recommend sending recorded delivery but you cannot do this from the UK to Ireland to a PO box no.

• i have been scammed the same as everyone else on here! i ordered the trial on the 1/10/2012 and i paid Ј2.95 for delivery. on the 15th i was charged Ј75 and again on the 31/12/2012. i did not even realise i had been paying for it i assumed i just had the free trial (idiot i know) i recived a parcel on the 31st and i had more tablets i rang the company to speak to some jumped up woman! who kept on goin on about the terms and conditions.i did not recive my tablets for 16 days after i had ordered them and when i looked at the terms and conditions it states after 14 days u still have to pay for what u have used! so call me stupid but how is that free?? i have cancelled my bank card i have contacted action fraud and on mon morn im contacting my local cab! action fraud advised me to ring slimton on mon and tell them i want a full refund if they say no i have to contact them again and they will treat it as fraud! if anyone else has any advice please let me know.
• just a quick update tomorrow 6/11/2012 i have to contact european trade and standards about slimtone plus! the second batch of tablets i recived i have sent bk recorderd delivery! i telephone them today 5/11/2012 to speak to another waste of space who told me they would issue a cheque for Ј75 pound but i had to wait 4weeks as it will come from panama! i asked her why and she said cause thats where she is based which made me laugh as i rang ireland! and she was very much english! i took her name as she was disgusting to speak to! her attitude was awfull!
• I fell for this scam this evening. I can't believe I was so stupid ! But all is not lost I had reservations immediately and so searched and found this Forum. I have cancelled my card already so they will only get Ј5 from me I hope. So if you too have fallen for this scam just cancel your card and they won't be able to get any more money from you.

• I too have been lured into this scam, I cancelled my credit card 2 days after I ordered the "stuff". They are due to take a payment tomorrow, I have not been able to return the "stuff" as they never replied to any of my 3 emails and I refuse to phone 0845 numbers thru virgin media (25p min). Have also told bank why I found it necessary to have a new card issued, they told me if they did manage to get monet from the new card to ring again and issue a formal complaint.I just read on this forum they are located in Pamama, I would like to know where and a phone number if anyone has one, I used to work out there for IRHE the CEGB of RdeP, speak Spanish and am ready to have a real go at someone!!

• Thank you all for bringing this to peoples attentions, I've been taken in hook, line and sinker. I doubted it, but why did I sign up. What is the old saying if its too good to be true, then it probably is. What a con. I am unemployed and over weight. I had come to a stand still, not lost anything in weeks, going to the gym, swimming etc. Never done so much exercise in my life. I have an under-active thyroid, and have just had my dose increased. So I will in future be extremely careful.
  I have sent my pills back today and given them a polite warning saying I have written to my bank to cancel this DD and do not take money from my account. I am just off to the post office to chuck it back to Ireland. Thanks a million for bringing this scam to peoples attentions.
• Wish I'd seen this thread before I fell for this scam. Ordered my 'free trial' earlier then found out that I'd be billed Ј75 a month automatically. Have cancelled my card and emailed them telling them I wish to cancel my order immediately.
  How on earth do these company's get away with this, idiots such as myself funding them I guess :-/
