A question about : Showing latest reply first
Most forums I frequent (mainly https://www.heavengames.com/ and various games forums they run) allow you to set your personal preferences. As well as things such as signatures, and your profile details (AIM/Messenger/ICQ/Email etc), they allow you to set how many replies show per page, how many days back you want threads to be shown for, and the most useful setting of all:
You can ask for replies to be shown in *reverse order*, which means that when you click on a thread you are automatically taken to the last page, not the first one, and the replies are displayed from most recent (at the top) to oldest (at the bottom). If you are somebody that visits a site regularly, and just want to look at posts that have appeared since your last visit, this is a godsend 
I love the ability of YaBB to notify you when a thread receives a reply, but all the extra clicks from having to go to the first page initially, then the last page, then scroll down to the bottom, then do lots of *backspaces* to return to the menu, I'm finding a little frustrating
Is this a preference that can be set on this forum, and I've just been looking in the wrong place? :-[

- You dont have to initially go to the first page. You can choose which page you want to go to by clicking on the 'page numbers' under the thread title. BUT, you still have to scroll down the page & ALL the way back up again :
Oh, and you have to have a pretty good memory and remember how many pages you've read on a thread - I'mnot so good at remembering ;D ;D
I've not been here long so there maybe a quicker way that I haven't found yet!! - *bump*
