A question about : Sharedealing

Would anyone know the cheapest place for telephone/online sharedealing. I just want to make 1 trade of 250 Alliance & Leicester shares (approx value Ј2150).

  • How about using comdirect? I use them and find they provide a good service.
    They will charge you Ј12.50 for the trade and if you get a referral from an existing customer then each of you gets Ј50, this covers the dealing cost and leaves you Ј37.50 up.
    I can't think of anything cheaper than this!
  • anyone know the cheapest way of buying shares (via a company that doesn't actually hold the certificates on your behalf)?
