A question about : Separate section for TW & FB comps

Just a thought. Has it ever been suggested to have a separate section solely for Twitter & Facebook comps in the same way that there's one for postal, phone & text ones? Sometimes the main board is full of tw & fb comps and a lot of us avoid these due to such high entries etc or simply aren't on twitter and facebook.

Best answers:

  • I think the board is fine as it is.
I don't enter RC or the dailies and I find easy enough just to skim through the boards avoiding the ones you don't want to enter.

  • I think as long as the poster sticks (TW) or (FB) etc on their title, its very very easy to whizz down the page and work out what you will/wont enter
  • I have to scroll through pages to find interesting ones even on twitter or FB - part and parcel of the board
  • FB, TW, e-mail, pinterest, instagram etc are all internet competitions.
  • No. I think this is a terrible idea. Most comps are already internet only. Doing such a thing would add a silly extra requirement for those already putting so much of their personal time into providing these links for others.
There are on average 25 pages per day of comps. Until this 12 year old forum allows category tagging asking volunteer users to do so for the majority of comps is silly to me. The post titles are character restricted too.
The other comps have had categorising added due to additional work/membership/signup required to enter. And they are in the minority.
  • i can guess what this is about by the other posts
just because others dont agree with you no need to delete your op
  • i wish something could be done, but accept that whatever was done wouldnt work for everyone.
just lately i have felt like i am drowning in twitter comps when scrolling through the main board
