A question about : Sending money to Australia, help?
hi there
I'd like to send money to my niece in Australia for her Christmas and was going to do so by putting dollars in a card and posting it through royal mail special delivery, however I have just looked on the royal mail website and it states that Australia is one of the countries that does not allow you to do this.
Can anyone advise of a better way of getting money to her?
thanks

- I am thinking of doing the same but in the other direction.
From what I can find orbitremit(.com) are one of the cheapest options out there for transfering money internationally. - paypal.....
- Well you can ignore the restriction and just send it through the mail. It will 99% sure get there. I wouldn't bother with special delivery - you wouldn't get compensated anyway
It's always worked for me - Just looked for Transfer Money Online Australia transfer services, and found a couple like xoom, fundfone and transferz.com. What are your takes, any users out there?
- If she has a bank account in Australia, you could try using
