A question about : SelfSelect Stocks/Shares ISA
Hi
I am looking to transfer circa Ј65K from an existing S&S ISA to a Self Select Stocks and Shares ISA which will mainly be invested in funds / shares.
In addition, I will also me making monthly contributions (to purchase funds) and ad-hoc contributions to purchase qualifying shares
Which of the Self Select providers would be the best option to look at ?
Best answers:
- Another couple of useful links for you:
https://www.comparefundplatforms.com/ - compare fund + shares platforms on cost only
https://www.rplan.co.uk/compare - similar, but for funds only (compares more providers than the above)
As far as I'm aware, the most competitive proposition for funds + shares currently is Charles Stanley - iii and ATS are also competitively priced. Cavendish is the cheapest for funds only, with others such as rplan, iii and ATS not far behind.
This being said, you should probably also look at other 'softer' factors when choosing a provider, such as customer service and site functionality - not just cost. There is a big difference in the quality of the tools available on the sites of different providers.
