Lidl seeds now in......cheapest basic 29p a packet. Look for No.1. No's. 2, 3 and 4 are more expensive, still cheaper than mail order.

Best answers:

• Bought all mine from Wilkinsons last year, 10p each. I think.
  I had over Ј38 worth of seeds for under Ј4.
• Good price, FMN, I also save a lot of mine, especially marrows pumpkins beans etc.

  They've got an amazing range and give you realistic numbers of seeds.
• I used to use the cheaper vegetableseeds.net but your link has a much better range and an excellent price on hybrids. My favourite veg seeds there are:
  1. French Climbing Hunter (fat tasty yields)
  2. Squash Crown Prince F1 (Last 7 months and much nicer than butternut squash, best roasted into soup, as a side dish or made into vegetable lasagne with Swiss Chard)
  3. Chard
• I;m going for more marrows and pumpkins this year.
