A question about : Safe online cards?
I had a bad experience with being ripped off on a card used on the net so I am really wary of using any credit card online.
Can anyone point me in the right direction of the best and safest card to use online?
Cheers
Best answers:
- Most cards have an online fraud guarantee on them these days. Marbles used to make a particular point about being safe for use on the internet but you should be okay with any of the major providers.
When using the card online, make sure there is the little padlock symbol in the bottom right hand corner of the screen, and if you're in any doubt about the organisation you are handing over your cash to, check them out - they should have a company registration number somewhere on their website and you can look them up via companies house (if they operate in the UK). - cheers
- I'd second that advice - make sure you take care with whoever you are dealing with and the card should be immaterial.
