A question about : Retiring soon, what shall I do?

Have worked 5 years beyond retirement and I have been given an estimated choice with my state pension of a Ј36K lump sum + pension or no lump sum with approx. Ј50 per month extra pension.

What would you advise please?

• How healthy are you? If not healthy and expect to die in next 10 years go with lump sum otherwise with the income - if you look on website there is a guideline detailing what amount of money you have given up by deferring and how long you need to live to break even (lol).
