A question about : Rent question
We live in a block of flats that has a communal central heating system, as such we don't pay the heating bill it is included in the management fee the management company charge our landlord.
We have just had a letter put through our door stating that they want to rip out the old system and replace it with individual electric heating at some time during the summer, which is obviously a bill we do pay.
Although we are not paying the heating bill directly it was obviously factored in to the rent calculation, and it looks like we may now be forced into paying for electric heating (which is something we specifically tried to avoid when looking for the flat).
Is there anything we can do about this?
Best answers:
- I have no idea, but I would suggest finding a more appropriate section to post your question. This is the employment forum
- I have absolutely no idea how I managed to post this here, in my defence I am recovering from surgery and am not quite 'with it'.
Could a mod please close and I will repost elsewhere?
