I made my first purchases on my Barclaycard Platinum card today and I was wondering if anyone who applied for the card under the Ј50 incentive scheme has actually received their high street voucher yet.

• From what I've read on here, we are all at the same stage. It now remains to be seen how quickly the voucher applications are sent, whether they are for the correct promotion, or if they are sent at all.
• could i still apply for this card and if so where etc
• Sorry MKUX3 but I am sure the closing date for applications was midnight on 29th October. Yes, Stephen - looks like we'll just have to wait and see with fingers crossed.

• I have called up four times and now sent a letter of complaint as no one has been able to confirm I am on the Ј50 voucher offer. I signed up on the right website at the right time and made a purchase. When I ask the call centre they have no idea what I am talking about. It is not looking good.
  They are trying to rip everybody off as they told me something about vouchers are issued 28 days after first purchase, this in not the same deal, that was an old offer for a Ј10 House of Fraser voucher.
  The Ј50 T&Cs states within 14 days of youyr first purchase you will be sent a form asking you to select which store you want the Ј50 for. Anyone had that form yet?
• Its an absolute rip off.
  I applied on the Saturday before the Monday deadline. I received the card and on activating it was asked why I chose the card I said to receive the Ј50 High St voucher. The person told me that it was not the offer with the platignum card, but the offer was a Ј10 House of Fraser voucher to be sent out on the first use of the card.
• I am still waiting for the voucher application form, but I am nowhere near the 14 days - yet.
  I suspect that it will be more of a c*ck up than a rip off. I have a bad feeling about the £50 offer depending on tracking online applications from just one site (Moneysupermarket).

• I took prints as well, but I think its going to be a long fight to get the Ј50. Barclaycard won't be hearing from me ever again after this. I've spent my Ј0.79p on card and will pay by cheque so it hopefully all costs them more to process and close account.
• I have received a letter from Barclays complaint team today, I asked the simple could you confirm my card is on the Ј50 voucher offer.
  There reply.....Thanks for your letter we are investigating your query and will reply in full by 22/11/07.
• I agree that this is not looking good. They must get instantaneous notification of all purchases and they must know which cards qualify under the scheme. So why don't they just launch off the application forms to people who qualify? It looks as if they will be getting more than a few complaints and cancelled cards if they don't honour their promis.
• The above posts make me suspect that something - ie. the tracking - may not have worked properly and that they don't know who is on what offer.
  If (and I am still using "if") it does go "pear-shaped" they will (of course) be getting a complaint, but there is no way that I will be cancelling the card - at least not until the day after I receive my £50 voucher.

Looks like it worked..................

• I have received and sent back the form asking which voucher you wanted. This arrived within the 14 days if memory serves. Hopefully the voucher will arrive within the next week or so.
  I am still suspicious that they may be strings attached to the voucher i.e. min. spend or similar!
• timmy you are one of the lucky ones that form means you are 100% geeting Ј50 for the shop you chose. I think others like me who have been screwed with no form within 14 days of purchase are heading for a Ј10 House of fraser voucher!
• i activated my card today, asked about the voucher and she said details would be sent with my first statement... now to go buy a few penny chews
• I got the voucher form this morning (before my first statement), and sent of for Ј50 argos vouchers YAY!

  hello everyone, i also applied for barclay card under this offer.i made first purchase with card and 2 weeks later i rang barclay card i was told because so many peopel applied for this offer it will take about 2 weeks to receive my Ј50 vouchers.
  so i rang them today again 8/11/07 and i was shocked when this guy told me he has checked my account and he cannot see any offers!
  i know and 100% sure i have applied for barclay card under this offer via link provided by martin lewis!!!! i don't know what to do now please help
