A question about : Pothole claim agreed but not sure yet
Hi all,
I took the advice from moneysavingexpert and submitted a freedom of information request and at the same time I submitted the bill for repairs and my bank details.
They replied saying they would pay me in full within 3 weeks but would like to know if I wish for them to continue with the freedom of information request or not.
If I tell them not to bother with the information request can they then decide that they are not going to pay me after all ? I have an email from them today saying they will pay me in full.
Thanks for any advice

- Alternatively, just ask for the chequ and once received give them confirmation that you don't wish to pursue the FOI request. It's a bit unreasonable tying up council resources if they're going to settle your claim.
