A question about : Occupational Benevolent Funds may be able to help
Hi all
I am a regular poster but also work for an occupational benevolent fund. There are many many of these funds that are connected with lots of different industries, although quite often people don't know they exist.
For anyone being made redundant at the moment, they may find a benevolent fund that can help - some offer grants, some training and some have advice / counselling.
To see if your industry has such an organisation go to
www.benevolencetoday.org and click on the 'search for help here' button.
Hope that helps someone!
