A question about : BT, Their Engineers.
Waited for 3hrs each time for bt engineers to turn up on two separate days. After ringing bt for hours, they told me they were not coming. Does anyone know if I can claim against bt for the loss of earnings?
Best answers:
- You can claim what you like, but if it's a residential line, there is no SLA and therefore all you are able to get is a credit for the downtime and a flat rate Ј10 credit per missed appointment;
Ask for something and you might get an additional good will payment-nothing to lose..
The engineer is not from your supplier, BT Retail, but from BT Openreach-completely separate companies. - Feel you pain mgs5, I'm in the same boat. And the impression that I get is that they couldn't care less.
- They are NOT engineers!
- Might be useful if you complained about Open Reach rather than BT. There is no such thing as a BT engineer anymore.
